Astrée Software joins the Sage X3 ecosystem with Factory Pilot
Sage is expanding its industrial offering with Factory Pilot by Astrée Software to connect the production floor to Sage X3
Sage X3 now integrates Factory Pilot by Astrée Software, listed as a Tech Partner solution, to help manufacturers link their management processes to the reality of the production floor and improve their operational performance. Puteaux, 24 September 2026.
Faced with growing pressure to produce faster, better and with fewer resources, manufacturers must now ensure digital continuity between the management of their business and the control of their production facilities. Sage has announced a partnership with Astrée Software, the developer of the Factory Pilot by Astrée Software solution, which is now listed as a Sage X3 Tech Partner.
Factory Pilot by Astrée Software is an MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and scheduling solution that connects natively to Sage X3 to extend the ERP system into the production workshop. Thanks to this partnership, manufacturing companies using Sage X3 can access a solution that is already available through the Sage X3 partner network, enabling them to link their management processes to the operational reality of their sites.
Digital continuity between the ERP system and the workshop
This partnership forms part of Sage’s strategy to draw on the expertise of leading industry specialists to enhance the customer experience with Sage X3. In particular, it enables:
- Strengthening the Sage X3 ecosystem through a recognised industry partner
- Digital continuity between ERP, production and industrial performance
- Better real-time visibility into manufacturing operations
- Support for decision-making through performance indicators gathered from the shop floor.
Tangible benefits for industrial sites
For Sage X3 customers, this integration means:
- More efficient management of industrial operations
- Better alignment between planning and execution
- Greater visibility into workshop performance
- Accelerated digital transformation of industrial sites
- Finite-capacity scheduling for production planning that takes account of actual workshop constraints
- Native synchronisation with X3 via a standard connector
